A senior police officer said that they got a call about the incident on Sunday and a team was sent to the spot.
“We got a call related to sexual abuse of a child in a private shelter home. After a preliminary investigation, we have lodged an FIR under section 377 of IPC read with section 4 of POCSO,” the official said.
The police officer said that during the investigation, the accused juvenile was also apprehended.
