“The double-engine government has to be brought back. The destiny of Rajasthan has to be changed. Change the future of villages, poor, labourers and farmers. Create employment for the youth. Besides, change the future of Rajasthan and the country. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, support the BJP government under the leadership of J.P. Nadda,” he told the people while flagging off the Parivartan Yatra.
He flagged off the Parivartan Yatra from Gogameri.
The yatra will cover 2,128 km in 50 assembly constituencies of Bikaner Division and Jhunjhunu, Sikar, and Alwar districts.
He also spoke of the development work undertaken during the tenure of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje.
The Minister also criticised the Opposition without taking any names.
He, however, did not speak anything about the controversy triggered by the Sanatan Dharma remarks of Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.
He also spoke on farmers’ hardship in growing wheat, millet, and corn every year but not getting good returns due to fluctuating prices and output from farmlands.
Gadkari said: “This is the time for diversification of agriculture towards energy and power. Now, our farmers will not only be the food provider but also the energy provider. Now, ethanol is being made from sugarcane juice. Ethanol is being produced from millet, wheat, maize and sorghum.”
